As many could know Lake Bracciano area is a Natural reserve a special corner bucolic countryside. Bracciano and Martignano Natural Park was established in 1999 to protect such a beautiful area and for nature lovers planning a wedding in a Natural Park just close to eternal city of Rome could be a great occasion!

This oasis of green and water , in the heart of roman countryside, is an area where the ancient romans used to build their patrician villa used for their vacations.

The villa we would like to talk you about today was part of a huge estate which used to host ancient roman soldiers on their way to Rome. Isn’t it mazing? Thinking about planning your wedding in a place where ancient romans used to stay? This can happen only close to Rome!

The pretty church is located not far from Bracciano village.
From here the landscape is the perfect frame for amazing wedding pictures.

This pretty corner of paradise is not only one of the most romantic churches on Lake Bracciano but it also gives you the possibility to arrange your religious ceremony and reception to follow without moving the guests with transfers and coaches.
The ideal place for a destination wedding!
This was one of the reasons because Francesca and Pigi chose this little church for their ceremony.
All guests could relax and enjoy the day without any stress.

Francesca was the first to reach the venue with her close relatives.
In the very hours of the morning she touched base here.
A little room of the convent was at her complete disposal to get ready and start getting in the mood of the wonderful day she was going to live!

Then after a while all guests arrive with Pigi, the groom!
When Francesca was ready…. just few steps to reach the ceremony in this ancient and quaint church in the green!

Francesca and Pigi’s romantic church dates back to roman times! It is s absolutely stunning , with the apse completely decorated with light colored frescoes.
The inside is mainly made of stones and you will really breath a charming past inside it.
A real and undiscovered corner of Italy!
Outside the church there is a gorgeous botanic garden, for sure one of the best Rome area!

At the end of the ceremony Francesca and Pigi took the chance to enjoy the park with amazing wedding pictures, while enjoyed a lovely aperitif outdoor facing the lake!

As soon as Francesca and Pigi got back from their wedding pictures set the wedding reception really started.
A lovely garden under a big Magnolia was the setting for the romantic outdoor reception.
While sitting outside all guests could enjoy the lake view and a charming sunset on the waters!
Isnt’ it just a dream?

The reception was held under a pretty marquee where a delicious dinner was served.
Francesca and Pigi andafter their wedding cake enjoyed a wonderful night with all their friends and relatives with dances until very late at night!

A happy romantic and quaint wedding just close to Lake Bracciano….. just a dream that came true.

What to say about Rome?
Everything has been already said and written about Rome but how can we miss it?
We do work on lakes but since Bracciano is so close to Rome we wanted to mention it for a while.

If you are coming to Italy a visit to this amazing city will make your staying even more magic!
Rome has the appeal of immortality and eternity just like a neverending love!

Then if you are looking for a very romantic wedding the best solution could be a wedding for two in Rome!

The area is very interesting from different points of view, here you can enjoy all kinds of sports connected to water, you can do naturalistic tours in the Bracciano and Martignano natural reserve, you can visit the etruscan area of Tuscania and least but not last, you can easily reach Rome with all its beauties with a fast train in about 20 minutes.
This makes Bracciano the perfect place in case you wish to match the desire to organize your special wedding in the romantic environment of a beautiful lake and the opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful cities of the world.

The period was not really the best one to be chosen, firstly because it was between Christmas and New year’s Eve, and almost everybody here in Italy was on vacation, then because the temperature was quiet cold, even here in Rome, the so called sunny city!
Anyway, Emma and Jarrod decided to get married in Bracciano, by the lake and under the famous Odescalchi castle.

For their pictures, they have chosen Alessandro Zingone, www.zingonereportage.it one of the few members in Lazio of WPJA ( wedding photojournalist associacion).

Their first idea, was to have a romantic ceremony for two but when we started collecting documents, the family understood that a wedding was going to be celebrated and they quickly decided to take an airplane and fly to Italy.
The ceremony has been celebrated in the sober and elegant town hall, located in an ancient palace in the main piazza, right beside the castle.

Emma and Jarrod were so young, sweet and moved that it has been a touchy moment even for me and my collegue, quiet used to attend weddings.

The position of the town hall allowed Emma, Jarrod and the whole family, to take wedding pictures along the little medieval roads of the village with the Odescalchi castle and the lake, always present as a landscape.

For their wedding lunch, they have chosen the restaurant “Le papere”, with its pile-dwelling, that during summer is the perfect place for a romantic evening dinner.

We wish Emma and Jarrod to remain always so in love and enthusiast for live.
