We can say that Hannah and James were surely the youngest couple we planned the wedding for in 2010 and we really want to wish them all the best for their life together!

Hannah and James decided for Orta without seeing it before. They thought once arrived here the lovely medieval village could be a sweet surprise for their guests and for them too.
And it was! The warm temperature of September welcomed the small group. Bride and groom decided for an intimate wedding on the shores of the lake.

Hannah’s tastes were on purple, lilac and white and she opted for a very elegant bouquet matching bridesmaid dress.
She decided to get ready in the amazing rooms of the Moorish Villa, one of the most luxurious venues in Orta San Giulio.

Same Venue… but very different weddings!

Who said that choosing the same venue means you are copying someone else’s wedding? That is not true!
This time we would love to speak about this: two weddings similar in venues chosen but surely very different from each other!
Soo and Jason and Lisa and Emmet got all married in Orta this Summer. The two couple both chose the same venues but they meant their wedding parties in two very different ways.

Encounter with Elegance at Villa Rusconi

Villa Rusconi in Pallanza, is a beautiful setting by any standards for a Blessing Celebration. The famous and stunning Lago Maggiore glistened in the warmth of an exceptionally strong September sun on the day, much to the delight of the wedding party from England, who had been suffering from a washed out summer!

Nicky and Chris appeared perfectly matched bright young things. The groom had previously written to us, describing his bride as a typically English Rose and when Nicky arrived by boat to greet an eager crowd our first impression was just that. Tall, slim and blonde, Nicky looked stunning in a simple but elegant dress worthy of a film star… talking of which, the groom reminded us of a younger dashing English actor named Charles Dance!

An expert guitarist performed the Wedding March and the ceremony was beautifully punctuated by an original poem composed and recited by Amy, a dear friend of the happy couple. The weather was beautiful, the grounds of the Villa absolutely gorgeous and the guests elegantly attired. A curious Italian boat crew waved and cheered ‘Auguri’ (an Italian wish for happiness.) Wedding at Villa Bossi, Orta San Giulio

Villa Bossi Weddings, photography by Mauro De LucaDear Monika,

I just wanted to say thank you for doing such a wonderful job with the flowers on our wedding day. They were absolutely beautiful and you did a great job organising everything, right down to scattering the petals a few seconds before we arrived in case they got soggy! The bouquets and buttonholes were perfect, and the arrangements and centerpieces were just lovely.

Also, although I forgot to say it on the day, the guitarist was really great and we were so happy with the way things turned out. (although we could have done without the rain!)

So many thanks again, and best wishes from Neasa and Richard
