In the luxuriant setting of Como Lake, among the rays of a shy sun, hidden by thick spring clouds, the elegant wedding of BethAnne & Rafal took place. They are a beautiful couple coming from two different and very far countries: United States and Poland.

Radiant and thrilled the newlyweds remained separated until the fateful moment. The preparations, in fact, went on a new stunning private Villa for the bride and her family and on a different one for the groom and his guests.

A little motorboat was waiting for the bride to take her from Laglio, where the Villa is located, to Lenno, were the ceremony took place, in the little and charming church up on the hills with a breathtaking view on the Como Lake.

Purple was the theme color of the day. An unusual, but very impressive choice.

For one year we were planning all details together, Stephanie and Thomas, bride and groom and Romana and Britta, the wedding planners from Creative Wedding – Italian Lakes Wedding team.

Of course it had to be a special day – We think all brides do have this idea!

After a long day visiting all possible locations Stephanie and Thomas decided for the fabulous Villa Teodolinda at Laglio, Lake Como.
Who knows, if they thought of their important neighbourhood, George Clooneys house is just 500m away from this place.

The next steps was to choose a very special place for their civil ceremony. We proposed Ossuccio where the celebration is held under their historic arcades. So this was an outside-ceremony, almost open air. And the vice-major put all her emotions into her text, Romana as interpreter almost had tears in her eyes, when Stephanie and Thomas had to say yes in front of all their 45 guests.

Für ein Jahr haben wir alles zusammen geplant, Spehanie die Braut, Thomas der Bräutigam und Romana und Britta als Wedding Planner von Creative Wedding – Italian Lakes Wedding team.

Natürlich sollte es ein wunderschöner Tag werden- das wünschen sich wohl alle Bräute !

Nach einem langen Tag, an welchem wir alle möglichen Locations rund um den Comersee besichtigten, fiel die Entscheidung auf die Villa Teodolinda in Laglio, kaum 500m weit von George Clooney entfernt.

Der nächste Schritt war, einen besonders schönen Ort für die standesamtliche Trauung zu finden. Unser Vorschlag war Ossuccio, wo die Trauungen quasi open air unter den historischen Arkaden stattfindet. Und die Vize-Bürgermeisterin hatte alle Ihre Emotionen in den vorzulesenden Gesetzestext gesteckt, sodass Romana als Übersetzerin mit den Tränen kämpfte, als sich Stephanie und Thomas vor 45 Gästen schliessllich das Si zuflüsterten. Wir sind ein ganz gemischte Team von Wedding Plannern und haben endlich auch eine Organisatorin gefunden, welche den deutsch-sprechenden Markt betreut. Wir alle haben ganz unterschiedliche berufliche Hintergründe, kommen aus dem Blumenbereich, aus dem Tourismus oder Britta eben aus dem internationalen Projektmanagement, und so ergänzt man sich prima, wenn zu diskutierende Organisationsfragen auftreten. Immerhin lebt Britta nun schon seit 10 Jahren in Italien und genauso lange plant sie auch Hochzeiten.

Für und mit den jeweiligen Hochzeitspaaren wollen wir nun die Seen und ihre verschiedene Reize entdecken und die Besonderheiten aufzeigen.

Warum sind gerade die italienischen Seen so beliebt für Hochzeiten?
Ganz generell ist zu sagen, dass man an den Seen den Wunsch nach Wasser gleichzeitig erfüllen kann, wie das Wandern in alpinen Bergen, Schatten spendenden Wäldern und immer weilt der Blick hinunter in das kühle Nass. Überall liegen kleine Ortschaften, in denen noch der typische italienische Lebensstil anzutreffen ist. Regionale lombardische und piemontesische Küche runden die besonders herzliche Atmosphäre ab. After the great and special rehearsal dinner to a beautiful Lake Como beach club, the Big Day has finally arrived for Antonin & Louise.
Many details made this wedding really different!

Both bride and groom stayed to Villa D’Este where they spent few relaxing days enjoying the lake and warm summer weather.
On the wedding day Antonin joined his friends who stayed for almost a week in a fantastic Villa with pool and private pier located in Laglio.

Ceremony was arranged to Villa del Balbianello followed by an wonderful reception in a private Villa in Cernobbio, on the lakeshore: a real masterpiece of the Lake Como architecture.
From this Villa, Antonin and his best men got on a charming Riva motorboat to go to Villa del Balbianello: they were really handsome.

In the meanwhile, the bride, together with her dad and the bridesmaids left Villa D’Este on a second charming Riva motorboat and reached Antonin who already reached Villa del Balbianello waiting for her together with family and friends, all very excited.
Louise was so beautiful in her wedding gown!

The ceremony was celebrated in the Loggia of Villa del Balbianello and conducted by a close friend of the couple.

Laglio is a small fascinating town located on Lake Como.
It counts only 930 residents and it’s only 6 square kilometers but in the last few years became one of the most touristic place around the lake.

Lake Como recently arouses a certain emotion on people coming from the States. In the last few years famous people like Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Matt Damon, Angelina Jolie or Sarah Larson visited Lake Como and contributed to let world know the beauty of this magic place, consacrating it as one of the most requested destinations for weddings in Italy and Europe.

Bianca and Mills are from Los Angeles, they work in the movie business.
Bianca is blond so pretty and charming, Mills is a movie director that, among the other commitments, worked as co-director and producer of Lethal Weapon 2 and 3. This was an exclusive wedding that Bianca and Mills reserved for a small number of friends and relatives.
