Photojournalism At The Top

Wedding Photojournalistic Style in Italy

Over the last years in the area of wedding photography the style of photojournalism in particular has become more and more trendy and fashionable. Photojournalism significates spontaneity and naturalness. It also means to tell the story of the wedding day through images exactly the way it evolved without constrain and fiction, mainly avoiding those posed pictures which make couple and guests look like imbalmated mummies.
The photographer Raffaello Mazzoleni is without doubt one of the leading exponents of the specific sector in wedding photography at the Italian Lakes district.
Only recently Raffaello has updated his Photo Gallery at www.italianweddingphotojournalist.com
This new photo gallery currently disposes of 60 extraordinary images in genuine photojournalism style. That means many little shots of stolen moments, discretely done with great experience during weddings he worked at over the last months.
Those images capture joy, emotion and those special intense gasps, sometimes funny and entertaining expressions too. In a few words, in these images the wedding day gets narrated very authentically and spontaneously in a rare unique and innovative way.
Absolutely not to be missed!

So what is reportage photography or wedding photojournalism?

Many couples in Italy like something different than the traditional posed style of photography. They prefer a more natural approach to their wedding photography to show the fun and enjoyment of their wedding day with their families and friends in the Italian Lakes District.
There are many stories and vignettes at a wedding: the bride getting ready, ring bearer being coaxed to walk up the aisle, the bride’s mother watching the father-daughter dance. Moments like these, when photographed without posing, are Wedding Photojournalism or Wedding Reportage Photography.

So what is reportage wedding photography or wedding photojournalism? It is a way of photographing a wedding without setting up any of the photographs. The wedding photojournalist usually arrives well before the bride is dressed and stays until they take last photo of the bride and groom leaving the reception.
The photographer stays in the background and photographs events as they happen without any prompting. The advantage of reportage photography for the couple is they can spend more time with their wedding guests. This style of photography shows the atmosphere of the wedding and is non intrusive. The photographs are taken in a mixture of black & white and colour, telling the story of the day as it unfolds.

Photojournalism and Classic Wedding Photography

Photojournalistic wedding photographer ItalyWeddings at the Italian Lakes have become very popular over the last few years. Like all destination weddings, Italy offers the opportunity to limit the amount of guests and add a wonderful holiday feeling to the event. Italy has a wide selection of wonderful venues, such as Castello Dal Pozzo on lake Maggiore, Villa del Balbianello on lake Como, Castello of Malcesine on lake Garda and Villa Crespi on lake Orta.

If you’ve just begun planning your wedding in the Italian Lakes area it’s very important that you choose your Italian wedding photographer carefully, as the images will represent how you and your guests will remember your special day. Whether you prefer reportage, elegant, modern, classic, black & white, color, formal or informal, by viewing our online galleries you’ll see there’s a photographic style to suit everyone.

The flavor of the decade for wedding photography is the so-called photojournalistic style. But, what is the difference between reportage and classical photography?

Typical classical wedding photography tends to produce albums consisting of a series of posed photos… group photos, the mandatory exchanging of the rings and cutting of the cake, and some romantically posed photos of the bride and groom.

Reportage describes this very natural informal approach to the capture of the Wedding day, the Wedding details as well as the Wedding Couple. Reportage photographs are taken in a journalistic style. The aim is for the photographer to be a fly on the wall, to capture real, honest, spontaneous moments. The end result is a Wedding Story Book Album, which tells the story of your day as it really happened.
