Lina and Borja’s Wedding Countdown: just 5 days to go!
From today we would like to start a new section of our blog: Wedding Countdown.
We will tell you some things about our bride and groom before their actual wedding , some pictures and stories about their engagement and life before the big day!
We will start with Lina and Borja.
Their countdown started more than 1 year ago when they contacted us to plan their wedding on Lake Maggiore.
Today there are just 5 days to go, they will get married on July 17.
Lina is Chinese heritage but she was born and she grew up in Verbania – Lake Maggiore. Borja was born in Spain and he has lived for many years in Milan.
They first met 5 years ago. Lina was in her last year high school and Borja was a student to University for Telecommunication Engineering in Milan.
It was just by chance. Lina and Borja went to a party of mutual friend to a Disco in Arona – Lake Maggiore. Lina was on a terrace to take some fresh air and a friend of her that a Spanish guy really wanted to speak with her. She wasn’t really conformable with meeting a guy in a disco but at the end she said yes. He was really polite and he just introduced himself and letting her enjoy the rest onf the night. Such a gentleman!
Before leaving her Borja asked Lina her phone number but who knows why she gave it to him.
And a wonderful love story begun!
After a quick meting in the disco Lina and Borja sent texts, emails and met a lot of times in Milan, Verbania. Lina went to Madrid where Borja completed his studies. Borja in its turn went to Venice where Lina started her University.
Then 4 years of travels among Madrid, Venice, and Shangai up to 6 months living together in Osaka where Lina and Borja went to learn Japanese.
And after all this the engagement! They both chose Verbania and Lake Maggiore for their wedding.
We Let Lina speak about this:
We feel lucky! We thought about my home country for our wedding because we will live most of our time in Madrid after it.
Some of my friends said we could have chosen many other places but I love Verbania. I feel lucky to share with friends and family this place. Some of them they don’t even know where it is!
On their side our guests are excited to come over. So I want a detailed and perfect wedding to welcome them!
It will be great all these people coming from different part of the world, China, Spain, USA and Japan.
I’m really looking forward to it!
