Planning a wedding a party or a meeting on a boat it is a trendy idea! Calm waters of Lake Orta with its wonderful landscapes could be the ideal place for an unforgettable event on the waters.

Navigation Lake Orta has two ferries that could be wonderful reception venues:
Ferry boat Ortensia is the main boat. It is 24 meters long and it can host up to 290 people. It has two decks. A deck is indoors with bar and the other is outdoor. From here you can admire a wonderful view and taking stunning wedding pictures!
It could be the ideal ferry for 100-120 guests maximum.
From March 2012 there will be Ferry Valentina a second boat ideal for smaller events with 40-50 guests maximum. Valentina is a historical boat that used to be in Torino on River Po. Thanks to restyling made by Piero Ravizza Valentina boat is coming back on waters... this time on Lake Orta!

Do you want some original ideas?
Right after your ceremony at Villa Bossi or in one of the wonderful churches in Orta you could offer your guests a cruising aperitif on the ferry boat. Ceremony could be planned on board with Lake Orta and St. Julius Island as bankground.... so romantic! But you could even think about planning your reception on board . A lunch or a dinner to admire the sunset on the lake. You and your guests could have your dinner and then some party music like a cruising disco!
Lunch or dinner could be planned on mainland in one of the lovely reception venues in Orta and then you could get on the boat for the cutting of the cake, toast and dances. Captain will start the party!
It could be a very original idea with many interesting features.

Navigation Lake Orta ferry boats can host up to 300 guest on a single boat. Boats have all comforts (toilettes, bar, heating system, tv and microphone system). Your event will be celebrated in total privacy far from tourists.
Live music could be included in the cost of the ferry boat rental.
Moreno Lubelli one of the two captains of the boat is a real musician!
