Villa Virginia

Villa Virginia is located on the hills of Stresa on Lake Maggiore just few steps from Stresa historical center and lake shore where all famous Belle Epoque hotels are.

Villa Virginia was built back in 1903. It is a classical example of the architecture of 1900 with a little touch of Liberty elements and some decorations taken from Wien Secession. In the property you can see a lovely little tower with stunning view. It is very elegant with wodden rood, little columns and precious frescos on the walls.
The highest part of the tower is surrounded by wide windows where you can admire a fantastic view over Stresa and Borromeo Gulf.

Inside the villa you can find rooms for every occasion.
Above all there is Sala Agar with its long piano that could be ideal for meals, meetings, events, weddings and concerts.
Saletta Isola Bella has a stunning chandelier all made in Murano glass. It can be ideal to welcome and meet your guests in private.
Saletta relax with fireplace and tv and dining room with its amazing bow window facing the park and embellished with elegant paintings and antique furniture.

On the two floors there are four elegant rooms available for your overnight staying.
One of them has been studied by famous architect Gio Ponti and all have wonderful salle de bains with trompe d'oeils.

We cannot forget the cellar where you can taste great Marche region wines. They are produced in Mosiewicz family vinery, even tasting a delicious pizza cooked in the ancient oven of the villa!

In the park there is a water spring and it has been maintained through the years with care and attention. There are wonderful tall secular trees, magnolias, azaleas, rhododendrons, and camelias bushes.
The landscape is embellished with bronze sculptures, marble statues and wonderful stone fountains with many other elegant details that makes the park a dreamy setting.

In the park side of the shade areas with wrought iron benches, gazebo there are also wide swimming pool with hydromassage, tennis court and bowls fields.
