As wedding coordinator on Lake Como I would like to give you some tips for some lovely weddings on this areas. With this post I would love to give you some suggestions if you may consider a catholic Wedding ceremony on Lake Como<\/a>.
\nWe receive everyday many requests and questions about the possibility of having a religious, catholic ceremony in Lake Como Churches<\/strong>.
\nThe answer is YES, but only in few of them.<\/p>\n

Destination weddings couples can get married only in two Churches on Lake Como.
\nBoth Churches are located in Varenna<\/a>.

D<\/p><\/div>estination weddings couples can get married only in two Churches on Lake Como. Both Churches are located in Varenna.
\nThe reason of this difference between Varenna rules and other Lake Como towns is simple: town of Varenna and its Church belongs to Diocese of Milan<\/em>.
\nMilan is a big and modern city and it is more flexible from a religious paperwork point of view!
\nAll the other Churches located on Lake Como belong to Diocese of Como<\/em> where only residents can get married to.
\nThis is also valid for religious blessing \u2013 they can be symbolic only. Anyway for blessings (symbolic ceremony, not registered) there is an exception though!
\nSide of the two churches in Varenna<\/a> we mentioned I can add and suggest you a third option. It is located not far Tremezzo<\/a>\u2026 but we\u2019ll talk about this option in one of my next posts!<\/p>\n

A wonderful wedding on Lake Como:<\/br>Emily and Richard\u2019s Religious Ceremony<\/h3>\n

L<\/p><\/div>ake Como is one of the most enchanting place in Italy and one of the most chic wedding location on Northern Italy.
\nEmily and Richard<\/span> fell in love with one of the churches in Varenna at first sight.<\/p>\n

Between the Churches I mentioned, they chose the most panoramic one, which is located up on the Varenna hills with a stunning lake view. What an amazing set for your wedding pictures!<\/p>\n

Ceremony was performed by local Priest who speaks perfect English and can perform also a full wedding mass.
\nEmily wore a romantic wedding dress and we chose together a vintage style bouquet. It perfectly matched her dress and with ambiance all around her.
\nRichard was so elegant in his classic suit. He was also very nervous while waiting for Emily walking down the aisle!<\/p>\n
