A<\/p><\/div>s promised we are back to you telling you about our September weddings<\/strong>.
\nWe are going towards the end of the season and we are pleased to tell you about our lovely couples who chose September for their wedding on Italian Lakes.
\nSeptember is a wonderful month for a wedding on Italian Lakes, temperature is mild and days are almost all sunny and beautiful, we really do suggest a September wedding over these areas!
\nBut let’s see together al our couples we have a lot to tell you about!<\/p>\nWe start with Lake Orta with Lucia and Stefano’s wedding<\/span>: they chose a real Italian style event\u2026 as their bridal mean of transport they chose a romantic Italian Vespa!<\/strong>
\nThey were so cute on it!! Have a look to Lucia’s bouquet and lovely heart shaped composition<\/em> for the Vespa Monika from la Piccola Selva<\/a> realised for them. Aren’t they beautiful?<\/p>\n

September 3rd: Mary and James’ wedding – Malcesine, Lake Garda<\/h4>\n

We move then to Lake Garda<\/strong>. On September 3rd Mary and James got married at amazing Castello di Malcesine<\/span>. They came from Kansas – USA<\/strong> and never visited the lake before. So all their wedding was an amazing surprise. A wedding for two with just two witnesses and photographer Patrick McCaffey<\/strong> and his staff.
\nOur planners Angela and Katiuscia<\/a> followed the event for us!
\nThey really wanted a fine elegant and intimate event in ancient Malcesine<\/a>. For their celebratory meal they opted for a fine restaurant where they had the best traditional dishes of the area.
\nAnd for their honeymoon? Venice<\/a> of course\u2026 so close to the lake that they could not miss it!<\/p>\n

September 4rd: Jackie and Antony’s wedding – Lake Orta<\/h4>\n

Back to Lake Orta<\/strong> for another intimate wedding on 4th September. Jackie and Antony<\/span> arrived from UK<\/strong> to get married on romantic Lake Orta<\/strong>. Only close family was with them.
\nA wonderful romantic civil ceremony at Villa Bossi<\/a> with a wonderful boat tour to follow with Prosecco toast on board<\/strong>. A very nice idea to enjoy the lake in all its beauty!
\nJackie was stunning in her laces dress and have a look to her Freesias bouquet<\/strong>\u2026 just stunning thanks to La Piccola Selva Team<\/a>!
\nSome pictures on St. Julius Island<\/strong> and then a lovely dinner watching a stunning sunset on the lake. A wonderful relaxed wedding.

6th September: Kate and Chris’ wedding – Lake Orta<\/h4>\n

We stay on Lake Orta for Kate and Chris’ wedding<\/span> on 6th September.
\nAnother event followed by our planner Valentina and amazing pictures by Independent Pictures<\/a> you can see here.
\nKate opted for a country chic wedding (read more about that in our recent post Floral Inspiration for a Country Chic Wedding<\/a>) a romantic civil ceremony at Villa Bossi<\/a> with boat tour and photos on St. Julius Island.
\nHave a look to Kate’s bouquet created by La Piccola Selva Team<\/a> – it was all made with country flowers<\/strong> just as Kate wanted!
\nFor their reception they chose again Ustaria Ca dal Rat<\/a> and we can say they had a great party that none will forget!<\/p>\n

September 6rd: Helen and Jason’s wedding – Torri del Benaco, Lake Garda<\/h4>\n

But on September 6th also Our planners Angela and Katiuscia<\/a> were involved in a lovely event: Helen and Jason’s wedding at Torri del Benaco on Lake Garda<\/span>.
\nA special thanks to Mauro Pozzer<\/strong> for the lovely pictures you can see here!
\nThey opted for a lovely civil ceremony at Auditorium of San Giovanni<\/em> just in Torri del Benaco<\/a> a little deconsecrated church in the centre of the village.
\nFor their reception they wanted something different\u2026 a lovely restaurant on the hills overlooking the lake! So romantic!<\/p>\n

10th September: Susan and Harald’s wedding – Lake Orta<\/h4>\n

On 10th September a German couple opted for another intimate wedding on Lake Orta.
\nOur German speaking planner Britta Hartmann-De Marchi<\/a> followed the event.
\nSusan and Harald got married with a civil ceremony at Villa Bossi<\/a> overlooking the lake. Villa Bossi is for sure one of the most wanted venue on our Lakes!
\nHave a look to wonderful bouquet created by Monika by la Piccola Selva<\/a> all made up with white roses\u2026 an evergreen for a romantic bride!<\/p>\n

September 12rd: Nicola And Stephen’s wedding – Malcesine, Lake Garda<\/h4>\n

On Septmber 12 we had a lot of weddings all over our Lakes!
\nMost of our team was involved in different events!<\/p>\nNicola And Stephen got married at Castello di Malcesine<\/span> with a civil ceremony overlooking the stunning view on Lake Garda.
\nFor their romantic dinner they choose a lovely restaurant in the heart of Malcesine<\/strong> where they tasted gourmand dishes of Veneto tradition!<\/p>\n

September 12rd: Louisa And Daniel’s wedding – Lake Orta<\/h4>\n

England met India on Lake Orta on this day! English Louisa and Indian Daniel<\/span> got married with a lovely civil ceremony at Villa Bossi<\/a> and a lovely reception at Hotel San Rocco<\/a>.
\nOnce again Monika<\/strong> from La Piccola Selva Team<\/a> created the decorations for them. Enrico Mocci was official photographer<\/a> and Alessandra Garbagnati the official planner.
\nLouisa had three wonderful purple-dressed bridesmaids<\/strong>. Monika created for them three little bouquet matching their dress perfectly!<\/p>\n

September 12rd: Samara and James’ wedding – Villa del Balbianello, Lake Como<\/h4>\n

On Lake Como Alessandra and Veronica<\/a> followed Samara and James’ wedding at Villa Del Balbianello<\/span>. A very young British couple opted for a happy and colourful event. Civil ceremony was held under the loggia of Villa del Balbianello<\/a> and for their casual reception the choose a Pizzeria<\/em>! Yes you got it right! but it was so joyful with yellow and blue decorations\u2026 it was a simple but so amusing party for everyone!<\/p>\n

September 13rd: Emma and Stephen’s wedding – Malcesine, Lake Garda<\/h4>\n

We go back to Lake Garda for another event followed by our planners Angela and Katiuscia<\/a>. Lovely pictures are by Giuseppe Comoli<\/strong>. Emma and Stephen got married on 13th September<\/span>.
\nA lovely British couple who choose again Castello di Malcesine<\/a> for their wedding.
\nThey opted for civil ceremony in the morning to appreciate Lake Garda in all its beauty.
\nWedding reception was held at lunch in a lovely restaurant in the heart of Malcesine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

September 14rd: Adele and Todd’s wedding – Lake Orta<\/h4>\n

For the 14th September we go back to Lake Orta, where Valentina followed a romantic event: Adele and Todd’s wedding<\/span>. We will come back soon talking about this special event as the details were so charming! A vintage event on Lake Orta. Adele wanted joyful colours for her bouquet and decorations: orange, pink and yellow!<\/strong> Thanks again to La Piccola Selva Team<\/a> to create all floral arrangements! But the best part were other vintage details<\/em> such as Adele’s laces dress and parasol<\/strong> and Todd’s English style navy blue suit with umbrella and brown bowler hat!
\nA a civil ceremony at Villa Bossi<\/a> and a reception to Ustaria Ca dal Rat<\/a>. The setting here was absolutely different a long royal table and many hanging decorations, lights and details on the table.
\nPhotographs are by Cecelina Photographer<\/strong>. As soon as the full set will be ready we will come back to speak more about this lovely day!<\/p>\n

September 15rd: Annalisa and Diego’s wedding – Lake Orta<\/h4>\n

We stay on Lake Orta<\/strong> for Annalisa and Diego’s wedding on 15th September<\/span>. The only day with a little shower on the Lake we had in September. But this made the day even more romantic! You can appreciate this from the images by Enrico Mocci<\/a> here. A religious wedding for them to the church of Sacro Monte di Orta<\/strong> and reception at Hotel San Rocco<\/a>.
\nBouquets and floral arrangements are by La Piccola Selva<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On September 21 La Piccola Selva Team<\/a> followed two events
\nThe first one again with Enrico Mocci photographer<\/a>. Laura and Paolo’s religious wedding<\/span> at the church of Santa Maria Assunta in Orta<\/a> and lovely reception in the stunning rooms of Palazzo Penotti Ubertini<\/a> in the very centre of Orta.
\nA very different option for them who loved the historical feeling you can breath on Lake Orta.<\/p>\n

September 21rd: Sara and Alex’s wedding – Lake Orta\/Lake Maggiore<\/h4>\n

The second event was Sara and Alex’s wedding<\/span>. For their religious ceremony they opted for the church of Madonna del Popolo in Omegna on Lake Orta.
\nFor their reception they decided to move on close by Lake Maggiore<\/strong> at Hotel Regina Palace<\/em> in Stresa.
\nMany couples opt for a wedding on the two lakes\u2026. they are so close one to the other!
\nHave a look to bridal vintage car a legendary Fiat Torpedo 505 of 1922<\/strong>! Amazing!
\nFor the maid of honour Monika the floral designer from La Piccola Selva<\/a> created a lovely wrist-bouqet.
\nAlex and Sara’s theme was Paris (their honeymoon destination). Tables names were inspired by famous places in Paris<\/strong> and on the sugared almond table a pink Tour Eiffel!<\/strong><\/p>\n

September 27rd: Sharon and Steve’s wedding – Torri del Banaco, Lake Garda<\/h4>\n

Back to Lake Garda with Katiuscia and Angela<\/a> for Sharon and Steve’s wedding on 27th September<\/span>.
\nAll guests arrived to Torri del Benaco<\/a> by boat from Sirmione<\/a> where they stayed.
\nThe solemn music played by a great bagpiper<\/strong> accompanied them. This because Steven was Scottish! A touch of Scotland on Lake Garda was a must for them!<\/span>
\nSharon arrived with her bridesmaids on a smaller boat and civil ceremony at Limonaia of Castle of Torri del Benaco<\/strong> could begin.
\nAfter the moving ceremony all the group had a lovely aperitif in the little port of Torri del Benaco with live Scottish music<\/em> and dances on the road! What a fun day!<\/p>\n

September 28rd: Ilaria and Mauro’s wedding – Lake Orta<\/h4>\nFlowers and Buttons for Ilaria and Mauro’s original wedding on Lake Orta.<\/span>
\nLa Piccola Selva Team<\/a> followed the event for us.
\nThey chose a religious wedding in the church of St Albino in Pella<\/strong>.
\nPella is an ancient village on the other side of Lake Orta, just facing Orta village. It could be lovely alternative to Orta village if you are looking for an even more intimate destination on the lake.
\nMonika by La Piccola Selva<\/a> created a very special bouquet with many coloured buttons<\/strong> on a base of baby’s breath (gypsophila<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Thanks to young but skilful Manuela Lovo photographer<\/a> we have here stunning photos just some days after the event. You could really appreciate here relaxed atmosphere in Pella for romantic wedding Ilaria and Mauro wanted.<\/p>\n

September 30rd: Arum and Seok’s wedding – Lake Como<\/h4>\n

We close the post with the last wedding of the month, just at the end of the month on 30th September. Another lovely event for Alessandra and Veronica at Villa del Balbianello<\/a>.
\nArum and Seok<\/span> are a wonderful Korean couple living in New York<\/strong> who chose Lake Como as their wedding destination. They fell in love with the area when, in occasion of their vacations, they had the chance to do an engagement photo session here<\/a>. Choosing Lake Como was a must! They had a symbolic blessing at La Loggia of Villa del Balbianello<\/em> and their reception in their new events area arranged with a wonderful marquee that could be even heated and also used as a normal outdoor dances space.<\/p>\n

A big thanks to Daniela Tanzi<\/a> for the pictures you can see here, she was the video maker<\/a> of the day but thanks to her footage we have these lovely shots in no time!<\/p>\n

\nDo you think our team needs some relax? No way! We will come back with some more weddings for October\u2026 of course not many as we had in Summer but you will see some more couples who chose our Lakes for their wedding.<\/p>\n

Summer 2013 was another great wedding season! We take the chance to say a huge thanks to all our couples, who chose our team and shared with us their special day; to professionals who worked with us (photographers, florists, musicians, decorators etc) sharing their professionalism and enthusiasm, to our tireless planners and to our likewise tireless webmaster who puts together all our efforts in these beautiful posts.
