Adrienne and John\u2019s wedding on Lake Como<\/h4>\n

We open the month with Adrienne and John\u2019s wedding on Lake Como<\/span>.
\nOur Lake Como staff<\/a> followed the event: a lovely English couple with a big happy family. They choose a civil ceremony at Villa del Balbianell<\/a>o with reception to follow in a pretty hotel in Varenna<\/a>.
\nReception for 60 guests was planned in a wonderful function room with frescoes on the ceiling.
\nAfter the dinner dances for all with a live band up to late at night.
\nAdrienne loves flowers and she wanted rich compositions of Lysianthus and Baby\u2019s Breath.
\nShe wanted a pink and white theme that really matched the style of the reception room.

Josanne and Mark\u2019s intimate wedding in Rome<\/h4>\n

On August 7th<\/strong> Stefania<\/a> – with the help of Valentina<\/a> directly from Lake Orta and Lake Maggiore – followed Josanne and Mark\u2019s intimate wedding in Rome<\/span>.
\nJosanne and Mark came from US to elope in Rome<\/strong> as Josanne always dreamt.
\nShe really wanted to get married in a venue overlooking the dome of St. Peter\u2019s abbey<\/strong>.
\nStefania suggested a wonderful hotel overlooking it!
\nAn intimate ceremony and little toast to follow and then a wonderful tour in Rome<\/a>!
\nJosanne and Marked walked in the streets of the eternal city for amazing photos: Romans Forum, Campidoglio Steps and\u2026 St.Peters Abbey\u2026 Josanne was over the moon.
\nAn intimate dinner for them to celebrate a unique day in Rome.

Katrien and Johan\u2019s wedding at Villa del Balbianello<\/h4>\n

On August 8th<\/strong> we get back to Northern Lakes.
\nWe are again on Lake Como<\/strong> for Katrien and Johan\u2019s wedding<\/span>.
\nThe both came for Belgium<\/strong> to celebrate their special day.
\nThey are in love with Italy<\/strong> and they chose Villa del Balbianello for their symbolic blessing<\/a> with a nice aperitif to follow.
\nAfter the ceremony bride and groom and their intimate group of 30 guests got on a motorboat to reach reception venue with a great view!
\nKatrien and Johan choose for their reception a wonderful hotel in Carate Urio with a great view over Lake Como<\/span>.
\nA festive atmosphere for sure thanks to the presence of many children who danced and sang with adults a lot of Italian traditional songs! So fun!

<\/div><\/div><\/div>If Valentina<\/a> helped Stefania with her wedding in Rome<\/strong> – Stefania<\/a> helped Valentina with her wedding on Lake Orta on 8th August<\/strong>.
\n Caroline and Daniel<\/span> chose Lake Orta for their intimate wedding<\/strong>.
\nA civil ceremony at Villa Bossi<\/a> with aperitif to follow in the gardens of San Rocco Hotel<\/a> and then a boat trip to reach the Island for amazing wedding photos!<\/p>\n

Reception was planned at Ustaria Ca dal Rat Restaurant<\/a> with exclusive use for the small group of 30 guests<\/strong>.
\nA very fine dinner with delicious food and wines<\/strong> and with a great wedding tiered sponge wedding cake with fruits! A special moment for all. Dj<\/strong> made everybody dance up to midnight when boats arrived to take all guests back to Orta village. A sweet night for all!

\nBrendan and Nyree<\/span> came from Ireland<\/strong> to tie the knot in Torri del Benaco<\/a>, just on top of castle tower!
\nA very intimate wedding<\/strong> for bride and groom and groom\u2019s son.
\nNyree wanted a cute white roses bouquet with some light blue details, just like romantic waters of Lake Garda

Eleonora and Paolo\u2019s wedding on Lake Orta<\/h4>\n

La Piccola Selva Floral Designer Team<\/a> followed a lovely wedding on Lake Orta<\/a> on August 11th<\/strong>: Eleonora and Paolo\u2019s wedding<\/span>.
\nA Nature inspired wedding<\/strong> decorated with sheaves of wheat and many daisy and sunflowers.
\nBridal dress and her flowered crown was really 60s Flower Power style!<\/strong>
\nEleonora arrived on a wonderful vintage Fiat 500<\/a> back from the 60s. It perfectly matched the style.

In the second picture you can also see Eleonora and Paolo\u2019s dog: Gnappo<\/em>.
\nThey love it so much that they wanted for it a Wedding Dog Sitter<\/strong>. It is the first professional dog sitting service in Italy<\/strong> for weddings and events. Ashely and Ryan\u2019s wedding in Umbria<\/h4>\n

On 14th of August<\/strong> the day before of famous Italian summer holiday of Ferragosto<\/strong> Ashely and Ryan got married in Umbria<\/span>.
\nElia<\/a> followed the event for us. Ferragosto is a wonderful National holiday in Italy. It is rooted in Ancient Roman culture.
\nIt is the climax of the summer, almost all business are closed and almost all Italian people have fun at the beach, to the mountains, in the countryside. There are big festivals with night feasts and fireworks! It is really a festive moment!
\nAshely and Ryan wanted to enjoy it in Italy!<\/strong>
\nThey got married in a private little wood of a Villa in the village of Panicale, Umbria<\/strong>.
\nThe same villa hosted also the aperitif, dinner and party to follow.
\nView is amazing over Umbria countywide and Lake Trasimeno!<\/strong>
\nAshely and Ryan opted for a symbolic blessing in an ancient wood of 18 Century<\/strong>. It was decorated with tends, laces and little hearts.
\nAperitif to follow was planned in the Italian Garden<\/em> as the intimate dinner.
\nIn a corner the seating plan and other shabby chic details with lanterns, and vintage clothes, peonies, coral flowers and succulents.
\nA personal friend of the couple played during the ceremony and reception. A wonderful country day in Umbria.

The day after Ferragosto, August 16th<\/strong>, Kathleen and Thomas got married on Lake Como<\/span>.
\nLake Como staff<\/a> followed the event for us.
\nA romantic elope for a wonderful Canadian couple<\/strong>.
\nThey choose a luxury hotel in Bellagio<\/a> for their symbolic ceremony and celebratory meal to follow.
\nA lovely day for the two of them with a boat tour on Lake Como<\/strong> to complete a wonderful sunny day of happiness.

Katy and James\u2019 wedding on Lake Como<\/h4>\n

We stay on Lake Como for Katy and James\u2019 wedding<\/span> on August 18th<\/strong>.
\nLake Como staff<\/a> was there for us.
\nA wonderful happy English couple.
\nAnother emotional civil ceremony at Villa del Balbianello<\/a> with a reception in a Beach Club in Lenno<\/a>.
\nWhen bride and groom arrived at the Beach Club<\/strong> there were lovely lanterns waiting for them saying\u201d Just Married\u201d so cute!
\nFor the reception Katy choose white flowers and golden details such as ribbons for chairs, sugared almonds and favours for guests.
\nThere was a Polaroid<\/em> for the guests. Everybody could take photos and hang them on a wire with little pegs. All photos were part of bride and groom\u2019s guest book.

Pamela and Damiano\u2019s wedding in Apulia<\/h4>\n

We move Southern Italy for Pamela and Damiano\u2019s wedding in Apulia<\/span>.
\nMichela<\/a> and Michela<\/a> followed the event for us.
\nPamela and Damiano live in Milan and they chose Paulia for their wedding just because Apulia is amazing!<\/strong> Pamela\u2019s family comes from this part of the country and the decision was very easy to take!
\nPamela and Damiano chose a Catholic ceremony in wonderful Church of Stella Marina in Castellaneta Marina<\/strong>, close to Taranto. They had 11 witnesses, all their closest friends!
\nPamela wanted a Boho chic theme for her wedding in Apulia<\/strong>. A Bohemienne style with vintage, hippy and eco friendly details.
\nReception was planned in a venue on the shores: so called Lido<\/em> (In Italian)
\nEmpty tomatoes jars with lavender inside, table cards with Northern Italian and Southern Italian proverbs to symbolise the good match between North and South.
\nA real informal party with dances, group videos, beach towels as wedding favours and Photo Booth.
\nWedding cake was cut on the beach bare foot! To close the evening amazing fireworks!

V&N\u2019s wedding on Isola del Garda<\/h4>\n

On 23th of August<\/strong> we get back to Lake Garda for V&N\u2019s wedding<\/span>.
\nAngela<\/a> and Katiuscia<\/a> followed the event for us.
\nBride is Austrian<\/strong> and Groom is English<\/strong>. They opted for a lovely symbolic blessing in amazing Loggia<\/strong> on Isola del Garda<\/a>. A stunning frescoed room for a moving ceremony!
\nAperitif was served on Italian style gardens just by the shores.
\nFor their reception they chose a wine property on Lake Garda hills<\/strong>.
\nCountry chic details<\/strong> did the rest: olive branches, and wine barrels were placed in the reception room and floral decoration were all made with olive branches, rosemary, dahlias, roses in warm shades of light pink and light green.
\nA wonderful bucolic event!

Barbara and Hansi’s wedding on Lake Maggiore<\/h4>\n

On the same day another couple chose olive branches for their wedding! Barbara and Hansi got married on Lake Maggiore<\/span>. Both our planners Valentina<\/a> and Stefania<\/a> followed the event for us. They often work together as you can see!
\nBarbara and Hansi chose a Catholic wedding<\/strong> in one of the chapels at Sacro Monte di Ghiffa<\/a>. An amazing view over Lake Maggiore!<\/span>
\nA delicate Italian style aperitif was served in the lawn just outside the church and after that everybody got on boats to reach Stresa<\/strong> where the reception was planned.
\nAn amazing villa with garden<\/strong> and lovely view on the Lake was the perfect setting for Barbara and Hansi\u2019s reception.
\nAfter a lovely aperitif outdoor the whole group moved inside the charming rooms of the villa for a delicious dinner!
\nDecorations were all really detailed: Barbara is a designer!
\nCountry chic details with linen cotton ribbons and grey stationary elegantly written.
\nOlive branches, white, pale green and light blue country flowers, fairy lights and hundreds of balloons!
\nSuch a great idea!! Instead of more dangerous sky lanterns, Barbara\u2019s sister planned a lot of pink, green and white balloons to be released before the wedding cake cut!
\nIt was a great idea for sure!
\nWedding cake was served on the terrace of the villa and party up to late at night could start!

Sarah and David\u2019s wedding in Piemonte Countryside<\/h4>\n

We stay in the countryside for Sarah and David\u2019s wedding<\/span> on 27th August<\/strong>.
\nThey chose Piemonte Countryside<\/strong> for their intimate wedding!
\nValentina<\/a> with the great help of Stefania<\/a> followed the event for us.
\nSarah and David are familiar with Piemonte countryside and they chose La Morra village for their romantic day with just close friends and family including their children!
\nLa Morra village<\/strong> has a stunning view over Langhe hills – Unesco World Heritage in 2014<\/a>.
\nCelebratory meal was planned in another stunning village on the vine hills called Neive.
\nHere the group of 14 guests had a delicious dinner in a Michelin star restaurant<\/strong> over the hills!
\nDelicious food and amazing wine for a great day!

Samanta and Christian\u2019s wedding on Isola del Garda<\/h4>\n

On August 29th<\/strong> we got back to Isola del Garda<\/strong> where Angela<\/a> and Katiuscia<\/a> followed Samanta and Christian\u2019s wedding<\/span>.
\nSamanta is Brazilian and Christian is German and they did not have the occasion to celebrate their special day with both families coming from both countries.
\nFor this reason they opted for a symbolic blessing<\/strong> with reception and party to follow on Isola del Garda<\/a>.
\nSamanta wanted deep fuchsia for all arrangements with roses, orchids and hydrangeas.
\nA 5 elements band and most of all Brazilian dancers<\/strong> with forches and gliding lights made the night unforgettable!

Patrizia and Nicolas\u2019 wedding on Lake Maggiore<\/h4>\n

On August 30th La Piccola Selva Floral Designer Team<\/a> followed Patrizia and Nicolas\u2019 wedding on Lake Maggiore<\/span> .
\nA wonderful Swiss couple<\/strong> who chose San Leonardo church<\/strong> for their Catholic wedding in Pallanza<\/strong>.
\nAfter the ceremony bride, groom and all their guests got on a boat to reach Isola Pescatori for a romantic toast<\/a>.
\nReception was planned at Hotel Splendid in Baveno<\/em>. A delicious cocktail and aperitif welcomed the group in the garden of the hotel just by the shores. Reception to follow was planned inside the amazing room of the hotel with magic view on Lake Maggiore and its Islands.
\nLa Piccola Selva Floral Designer Team<\/strong> created wonderful centrepieces with white and green orchids. Table plan was made of many bird cages with flowers and all guests\u2019 names. A very original and cute idea!

Gera and Sean’s wedding in Rome<\/h4>\n

We close the month with two weddings.
\nThe first one in Rome, followed by Stefania<\/a> .
\nGera and Sean<\/span> got married in Santi Apostoli Abbey in Rome<\/strong>. A wonderful emotional Catholic wedding in the very heart of eternal city.
\nChurch is simply amazing as only a church in Rome could be! It has been founded by Bizantines in 6th century and enriched along the centuries.
\nAfter some pictures in Rome, bride, groom and their guests reached a wonderful castle right in Rome<\/strong>. A castle in Rome? Yes Rome has this and much more to offer!
\nGera opted for white golden and crystal details that made the reception one of the most elegant wedding planned at the castle.
\nAperitif and delicious dinner to follow and fun dances for all. Everybody fell in love with Rome!

Ambra and Valerio\u2019s wedding on Lake Maggiore<\/h4>\n

The second wedding on August 31st<\/strong> was followed by Valentina<\/a> on Lake Maggiore<\/strong>.
\nWe are talking about a wonderful sweet couple: Ambra and Valerio<\/span> , both coming from a small town close to Pavia<\/strong>.
\nThey chose Lake Maggiore for their day and they simply loved every single moment of it.
\nAmbra and Valerio chose a Catholic ceremony<\/strong> in one of the chapels of Sacro Monte of Ghiffa<\/a> overlooking the stunning view of the lake.
\nAs per Italian tradition they opted for a lunch. After a boat trip on Isola Bella for amazing wedding photos<\/a> they reached their guests at Grand Hotel Dino<\/a>.
\nTheme of the wedding were\u2026 the opposite just like Ambra and Valerio are.
\nA little sun and moon logo on all stationary and wonderful sunflowers and blue flowers as special decorations.
\nWedding menu was great and it was accompanied by a huge heart shaped wedding cake made of fruits and a stunning sweet buffet with lots of mini desserts and black and white chocolate fountains! Simply wow!
\nDuring the reception a lovely caricaturist took a portrait of every guest<\/strong> that was given as gift at the end of the party together with some sugared almonds and delicious sweets by Chocolaterie des Iles<\/a>.
