W<\/p><\/div> hat is the best way to open 2019 wedding season on Italian Lakes? A romantic Spring Elope on Lake Maggiore<\/strong> is the answer! Jennifer and Shawn came all over from United States<\/strong> to tie the knot in a sunny day of early spring by Lake Maggiore shores<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Having a wedding in early Spring on the lakes might be a risk, you can have pretty cold day but the great impact of a still quiet Lake before summer tourists is just amazing.
\nSo Jennifer and Shawn opted for a date in early April<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Getting ready in a charming apartment overlooking the Lake<\/h3>\n

Jennifer and Shawn chose a very intimate country chic apartment<\/strong> on top of Stresa<\/a> hill where they spent their Italian days. On the day of the wedding we reached them to help them with the final details of the planning.
\nAndrea of Independent Pictures<\/a> was with us and he took amazing shots of this day!<\/p>\n

When groom was ready one of us took him to Villa Giulia in Pallanza<\/a>, literally on the other side of the lake to be ready for Jennifer to come.
\nFor Jennifer we planned something different.<\/p>\n

A boat ride to reach the wedding ceremony<\/h2>\n

Once ready Jennifer got on a motorboat in Stresa<\/a>. I was with her with our photographer and we enjoyed with her the exciting moments that lead her to Villa Giulia<\/a> in Pallanza.
\nBoat travelled across the lake looping around Isola Bella<\/a> and Pescatori Island<\/a>. Two of the enchanting Borromeo Islands<\/a> that are just ideal for wedding photos.<\/p>\n

We reached Pallanza main square and we walked together to Villa Giulia<\/strong>. Sun was shining and bridal bouquet was waiting for her just there.
\nShe wanted a full white bouquet made with peonies<\/strong> that matched perfectly her style. She wore a lovely bridal dress and her hair down. <\/p>\n

Shawn was waiting tor her on top of Villa Giulia terrace.
\nThe legal civil ceremony on top of Villa Giulia is always amazing<\/strong>. The view you can get from this venue is wide all over Lake Maggiore<\/a> and on clear days you can see Borromeo Islands and other side coastline just perfectly!
\nWedding ceremony was accompanied by the sound of a violin and it was very fun but moving at the same time.<\/p>\n

A boat trip and an aperitif after the ceremony<\/h3>\n

After the wedding ceremony and some wedding photos in the garden of Villa Giulia<\/strong> we took Jennifer and Shawn back to their boat. It was waiting for them to take them to a ride all over Lake Maggiore and its islands. They took the chance to take amazing photos on Isola Bella<\/strong>.
\nAs the matter of fact being the beginning of April, they had the Islands all for them and the atmosphere was just magic as in a fairy tale.<\/p>\n

After their wedding photos they took the chance to have a nice aperitif on another famous top terrace on Lake Maggiore<\/strong> where we planned other amazing events in the past.
\nEnjoying the sunset from the skybar in Stresa<\/a> is always a breathtaking experience.
\nWe left them in this romantic moment.
\nWe planned for them a romantic dinner back on Isola Pescatori<\/a> to celebrate this sweet elope on Lake Maggiore.<\/p>\n
