Getting married on lake Orta

Wedding in Lake Orta is a dream come true

I have traveled worldwide in my lifetime and been to some gorgeous locations, but I can honestly say that Orta San Giulio was THE PLACE to get married in. The wedding day was great, the weather was perfect and everybody really enjoyed himselves in Orta San Giulio. It was the most perfect location for us to be married and we will never forget the day!!

The Hotel Villa Crespi, the location, the flowers, the ceremony, the boat trip and the reception all were just great...we owe a great deal of thanks for all your help, for making it a really special day for us both.As soon as we arrived we all fell in love with the place! My father and I then were shown on to a boat: the boat trip was lovely, a little trip round the beautiful island and then straight into the Wedding Hall at Villa Bossi to be met by my fiancé at the beautiful ornate iron gates of the Wedding Hall which were opened especially for me.

When I walked down the aisle with my father it was breathtaking. It was like a dream. The flowers lined the aisle perfectly and added the right touches to the wedding.
Choosing La Piccola Selva as our florist was a great idea. When I walked in the shop, there was a warm feeling to the place. They were very helpful. They had pictures of various flowers and bouquets to give you ideas. Initially, I had no clue on what flowers to pick, the size of the bouquets, the boutonnieres and corsages. It was all very overwhelming at first. Then I sat down with Monika Andenmatten, La Piccola Selva's floral designer, and she was very helpful and patient with me. We worked through all the details. I felt comfortable, relaxed and confident that they would do a wonderful job.

Everything was so beautiful. Our ceremony was very moving with romantic violin music playing our very own choice of music and it was very intimate. Thank you so much for all your help arranging our ceremony in lake Orta.
