Koiné String Quartet

A wedding, a fine party, an important ceremony are all special occasions in which music plays an important role.
The Koiné String Quartet is made up of young musicians coming from The Symphonic Orchestra of the University of Torino. The professional and high-level quartet will play for bridegroom most important day creating the ideal choreography and soundtrack in a atmosphere of sweet harmony and serenity.

The quartet will play live bridegroom’s ceremony in ad ideal synthesis of arches orchestra: a viola, a cello and two violins.
It will accompany bridegroom for the entire ceremony and it will emphasize the most memorable moments such as the bride’s entrance, rings changing, Holy Communion, wedding signing and bridegroom exit from the church.

Established in 2001, The Koiné String Quartet has performed classical wedding ceremony music throughout lake Orta, lake Maggiore, lake Como and lake Garda, expanding our repertoire for countless elegant affairs: corporate dinner parties, private receptions and holiday parties, as well as sacred and secular wedding ceremonies, and funerals. Our years of experience, coupled with our extensive knowledge of classical wedding ceremony music, give us the expertise and flexibility to work closely with our client to provide just the right music for their special event.

The repertoire is wonderful for both for civil or religious bending. It will fit perfectly with the style of ceremony giving a deep emotional impact that bridegroom will remember forever.
The arches quartet has on disposal a wide repertoire: from classical music (Mozart, Beethoven, Wagner…) to romantic and baroque one (Bach, Hendel, Vivaldi..). The musicians would be also pleased to play for you standard jazz (Gerswhin, Joplin..), movie soundtracks or pop music (Beatles).

Musicians of Koiné String Quartet have a wide live experience. They play all over North Italy, especially in Italian Lakes Districts. They raise a great success in private parties, weddings and ceremonies in general.
