As usual in our Just Married section we give you a little preview of our weddings on the lake.
This afternoon was Hannah and James‘ turn a nice British couple who chose magic atmospheres of Lake Orta for their wedding.
Lilac was theme color of the event. It was used for Hannah’s bouquet, Villa Bossi and Restaurant on St Julius Island floral arrangement and even for James’ tie.
White bride and Caribbean bridesmaid wearing dark purple was just a perfect match!
As special thank to Enrico Mocci photographer from ArteFotoArona who gave us very first images of this lovely event in no time!

Today we are glad to come back to Lake Bracciano and its Odescalchi castle to tell you a little about the stunning wedding of this very nice couple: Jan and Olga.
Jan and Olga’s style is elegant and refined but they also added a a touch of humor that gave the castle a brand new interpretation.
Have a look to some of the pictures here and you will surely have a better idea.
Even if the sky was a little cloudy they could enjoy the lake and its amazing view..
The wedding frame was more than scenografic.
We would love to thank Alessandro Zingone Studio. Very good and professional photographer Alessandro Zingone working on Lazio region, Lake Bracciano and Rome gave us the possibility to have a first glance on this wedding.

And it is not over!
After Daniela and Mauro’s wedding, Lake Orta was the perfect frame for Leigh and Liam’s wedding too a British couple who got married in the afternoon to Villa Bossi.
Liam and Leigh’s theme color was purple.
You could see it in bridesmaids dresses on floral arrangements, even in Leigh’s shoes and in the wonderful bridal bouquet created with purple lysianthus.
These are the first images that Photo27 kindly shared with us. They were very quick.
We often talked about this prestigious Studio in Milan directed by Diego and Estella which is able to provide great wedding photo services.
We will come back telling more about this purple themed wedding and in the meanwhile our best wishes to bride and groom!

Daniela and Mauro are a nice couple coming from Lake Orta but living and working in Crans-Montana (Switzerland – Vallese Canton). For they wedding they decided to come back to Orta to celebrate they big day with all relatives and they old friends.
Daniela and Mauro’s wedding was celebrated on today late morning in the Church of Assunta (Cireggio di Omegna) with a lovely reception to follow on St. Julius Island with great view on the lake.
A special thank to Alessandro Balossi who sent in no time very first images of the event.
Alessandro Balossi is our photographer of smiling brides. We told you about him several times.
He is a very good professional with a long experience who lives and works on Lake Orta. He is able to provide a very good photo-service with good prices too.
Have a look to wonderful Aqua roses! they were the main character of the floral arrangement and Daniela’s bridal bouquet. Aqua rose! is a beautiful rose in the shades of pink-lavender, with a little touch of blue. Matching them with Vendela roses and Lisianthus made the arrangement just gorgeous. Continue Reading »

Today is Friday 17th and weddings do not stop on Lake Orta! This afternoon is the turn of Nicole and Euan.
Nicole is Australian and Euan is Scottish. They decided not to care about Italian superstition of Friday 17th!
Nicole and Euan’s wedding was held in the romantic garden of Villa Bossi in Orta San Giulio.
Nicole’s color scheme was white and blue because she loved blue but also to celebrate St. Andrew’s Cross Scottish flag.
White and blue were just everywhere: in bridesmaids and flower girls dresses and in all floral arrangements. Have a look to Nicole’s bouquet, a long teardrop bouquet with white roses and blue gentianas.
To our couple who decided to not care about Friday 17th Italian superstition our best wishes for a new life full of joy and happiness!

Flowers and red fishes why not?
Sometimes very simple ideas could turn into great and original solutions and this without spend a fortune!
This is the case of Francesca and Sebastiano’s wedding we mentioned last Saturday in Just Married section. The reception was held to one of the best hotels in Stresa just by the lake Hotel Astoria.
The original idea was using as centerpiece the classical fish bowl with some red fishes and a special decoration with Bear Grass, ivy rose petals, little stones and white Avalanche roses.

Today for our Just Married section we come back on Lake Maggiore to tell you about an Italian couple Francesca and Sebastiano.
In late morning Francesca and Sebastiano got married to Villa San Remigio the ancient villa built in 1800 which can host legal civil ceremony for town of Verbania Pallanza.
Villa San Remigio is located in a wonderful park with a stunning view on the lake.
Bride arrived in the main yard on a wonderful vintage Fiat Balilla of 1933.
Have a look to Francesca’s bouquet made with cream roses and pink Anthurium matching her pretty light pink dress.

Today Italy and Ireland got together on Lake Orta! Shauna is Irish and Marco is Italian. In the first hours of today afternoon Shauna and Marco got married in the wonderful church of Maria Assunta in the historical center of Orta San Giulio.
Bride arrived on a wonderful vintage Fiat 500.
To symbolize a union between Italy and Ireland the car was decorated with some ribbons: green, white and orange (to recall Ireland) and green white and red (to recall Italy).
Have a look to bridal bouquet created with big lilac and cream roses blossoms matching perfectly Shauna’s bridesmaid dress.

It was almost 2 years ago that the organization of the wedding of Olesya & Fedor has started. After visiting numerous venues in France and in the most beautiful areas of Italy such as Tuscany, the Ligurian seaside and the Italian Lakes district, the spouses have chosen a charming private villa on lake Garda, in Desenzano. The beauty of the historic villa, the intimate atmosphere, the charming Italian garden and the spectacular position on the lakeshore conquered the heart of Olesya & Fedor for the first view…
Once the location was decided, it could start the teamwork of the Russian and Italian wedding planners. Misha, the head of the Russian wedding planner team, was the creative author of the event, ensuring to respect the Russian traditions very important both for the spouses and the guests. While the Italian team was responsible for the scene, the decorations and the realization of the creative ideas together with our trusted, professional suppliers. After a lot of working hours during the day and night, videoconferences through skype with the spouses, and finally the BIG day has arrived. Actually, it was not just the day itself, but a complete weekend with 3 days program, full of surprises for the guests…
After an exciting and funny treasure hunting in Venice, the wedding party arrived in Desenzano the night before. Followed by a hectic morning with the preparations, the guests arrived In the villa, where a refreshing rich aperitif welcomed them in the loan area, with delicious fingerfood and lot of champagne to admire the scene on comfortable sofas and pillows. Little white fans were offered to the women, to be able to support better the hot temperature. Soft jazz music gave background to the peaceful moment. Then the special wedding guest ( a tradition in Russia) called the guests to join him in front of the stage, decorated with the romantic white huppah and lively red flowers in huge white glass vases. We tell you often about couple coming from all over the world to get married on our lakes.
But today we will speak you about a 100% Italian couple: Cinzia and Giò.
For their wedding Cinzia and Gio’ chose the tony little church of Madonna di Luzzara on the hills of Lake Orta. Madonna di Luzzara is a very ancient church in the countryside sourrounded by green lawns and woods among birch and linden.
This is absolutely a bucolic atmosphere for a wedding just like Cinzia and Giò wanted.
Church floral arrangement was really special. It was based on spheres of different dimensions enriched with dozen of Avalanche white roses.
And again Avalanche roses were in Cinzia’s scepter bouquet.
The party went on to St Julius Island but we stop here for now with few images taken just few hours ago. We will come back soon speaking about Cinzia and Giò’s wedding with more photos and many little details of this poetic wedding on Lake Orta.
