The Rocca di Arona (Fort of Arona) is a new entry to our selection of locations for civil and symbolic ceremonies on Lake Maggiore. Last summer the local council of Arona authorized the use of the Arona Fort for civil, legally valid ceremonies, as well as symbolic ceremonies on the outdoor terrace. The characteristics which make a wedding at the Rocca di Arona unique and special include a wonderful view of the lake and the enchanting natural and historical setting.

We have to be honest, it is quite unusual that we have couples who want to elope on Lake Maggiore… we do to know why but most of the time they choose tiny and romantic Lake Orta or some other famous lake of Italian Lakes District. In spite of this we can say that Lake Maggiore could be a fantastic idea for your elope in Italy!
