Flowers and red fishes why not?
Sometimes very simple ideas could turn into great and original solutions and this without spend a fortune!
This is the case of Francesca and Sebastiano’s wedding we mentioned last Saturday in Just Married section. The reception was held to one of the best hotels in Stresa just by the lake Hotel Astoria.
The original idea was using as centerpiece the classical fish bowl with some red fishes and a special decoration with Bear Grass, ivy rose petals, little stones and white Avalanche roses.
Nothing more simple!
A little original idea who was really appreciated by all Francesca and Sebastiano’s guests.
Sometimes a little touch is just enough! Don’t you think so?

Any time you want to use live animals for decorative purpose, you need to stop and think. The idea of fish swimming in your centerpieces is a lovely one, but the ONLY responsible and humane way to pull it off is with the help of someone who knows what fish require to live.
Let’s start by identifying what you have there. The animals in that bowl are comets, a type of goldfish. Goldfish are cold water fish, so the odds are in your favor that room/water temperature won’t shock and kill them (provided you acclimate them properly). What WILL kill these fish, however, is suffocation, as you have not provided any agitation of the water surface, and the oxygen in that miserable puddle will be gone in about 30 minutes. You need a bubbler or at the very least emergency oxygen tabs to keep those animals breathing.
Before setting up little death chambers on your party tables, please consult with an expert at a small local shop (not a chain pet store) about the needs of the creatures you want to display.
