Acid green is a wonderful color that matches every kind of composition: from classical to very modern, from minimal to very rich ones. If you plan to use it with glass elements, it will be even more beautiful. The perfect match is: glass and acid green. Glass supports are really trendy now, they completely incorporate summer freshness. Acid green too is a frizzy and fresh color that could be the perfect choice for summer season.

If you will like to use acid green as floral color scheme, consider that there are many flowers that naturally have this shade in them. Today I would like to suggest some acid green ideas that I personally love.
First of all let me thank you Enrico Mocci photographer of ArteFotoArona. All floral pictures of in this post are taken by him and he did a wonderful job!
He is really able to catch lovely details thanks to his great wedding picture experience.

Acid Green is a lively color. It recalls open air and freshness. It is a natural color. For this reason floral compositions should be very natural. Round shapse with mass spheres are the best for 2009.
Carnation often is not considered for wedding arrangements, but I saw that in the last few years it has been more requested form couples, thanks to new qualities on market including the acid green one. Round shapes enhance its qualities.

Round shapes again in a tall glass flute. I used cream ranunculus with Ping Pong acid green daisies and classical gypsophila. I also added some blooms of Lathyrus creating an eccentric and casual effect.

In this loose bouquet I made with roses and white orchids, I took away classical gypsophila adding acid green Alchemilla. Filnal result is a an original and trendy composition.

I used Alchemilla too for this lovely all green centerpiece. Alchemilla is also used as healing plant! In order to create a good contrast, I added its little blooms to big green Cymbidium orchis and Supergreen roses.

Acid green is also perfect for minimal composition. In this composition I made, I match green Dendrobium orchids with reeds of Steel Grass.

super-green-roses

Keeping in mind acid green as main theme I re-elaborated some of my classical compositions such as roses cube. In this case I used Supergreen roses in acid green crystal gel.

low-budget-centerpiece

A simple but stunning centerpiece which is even not expensive, could be the one I realized with three green shades. I used green blooms of Viburnum Opulus “Snowball” with Supergreen roses with a base of deep green Griselinia leaves.

Acid green is a glamour color which is very trendy these days. It is perfect for summer wedding arrangements. If you will give it the right importance choosing it as color scheme of your wedding you will have for sure an original event. You could choose if for flowers but not only! Think about matching it with bridesmaids dresses, little details on grooms suit or even for invitations, names cards and all the other wedding stationery you may have.

    Hi there,

I love, love, love your modern green rose centerpieces… If you don’t mind me asking, what size glass cube did you use for the arrangement? They are so chic!

    Thank you!
