Ceremony in ancient church of Santa Maria della Neve
Ursula and Cathal are a young and romantic couple with lovely and traditional ideas. They chose ancient church of Santa Maria della Neve for their catholic wedding ceremony. The church is located by the medieval city walls of historic Sirmione. The church has wonderful archways, amazing courtyard on the lake and precious 1500 frescoes. No doubt it is an amazing venue for a romantic wedding on Lake Garda.
And for a magical romantic wedding… wonderful flowers! The most exquisite local perfumes of delicate peach roses wrapped in sage on a cushion of white and green hydrangeas.
Wedding ceremony was really romantic and emotional, especially the moment of the exchange of the rings was really moving. Daniele Borghello by Morlotti Studio Venezia was there to shot pictures of rare beauty.
The guest stroll through the lakeside green
Newlyweds were showered by rose petals as they left the church with lots of hugs and kisses too All guests made their way through the gardens behind the church in a pleasant lakeside stroll to Villa Cortine Palace Hotel where wedding reception was planned.
The hotel is an ancient and precious villa immersed in a marvellous, luxurious lakeside garden. It is an ideal location to soak up the beauty of Lake Garda in the refined elegance of times past. This is what Ursula and Cathal thought when they visited the villa for the first time and decided that this would be the ideal setting for their wedding reception.
A magical setting for the wedding reception
Aperitifs and welcome cocktail were served in the magnificent gardens embellished with ancient statues, right at the entrance to the villa while an Irish band entertained the guests with traditional music and song. After this lovely moment Ursula, Cathal and their guests moved to elegant ballroom on the first floor through a huge frescoed rooms and a marble staircase. Fine dinner was planned just in this amazing ballroom overlooking the lake for the joy of guests!
At the end of the dinner, Ursula surprised everyone! She changed her dress, to a soft sparking evening gown, ready for the dances.

After the dinner and moving speeches Usula and Cathal and their guests walked along a candlelit pathway down to the beach. What an amazing setting for the cut and toast. DJ Roby Palma livened up the evening, mixing Irish and international rhythms to dance the night away!
