Today I have the pleasure of telling you about Polina and Simon’s wedding in Stresa, Lake Maggiore. The ceremony and reception with the magnificent views of Lake Maggiore were perfect. Polina says “The dinner setting we wanted was like a dinner with friends; gorgeous yet simple. It looked like a dinner in the garden of our house.”

Lake Maggiore could be the ideal destination if you are looking for an elegant and chic lakeshore wedding in Northern Italy. 
Only some wedding venues are located directly on the shores. Some have breathtaking views, and some have enchanting interiors, but the few venues that lie on the waters are indeed magic. Villa Rusconi Clerici is one of those, and it is the venue that Mariya and Christian chose for their wedding on Lake Maggiore’s shores.

Jen and Joe dreamed about getting married overlooking Lake Maggiore, waiting a lot to make their dream come true. The pandemic stopped their plans for a while, but as soon as we resumed them, we were able to create magic together! Our bride and groom chose a fantastic villa overlooking Lake Maggiore to tie the knot in Italy.

What a joy is getting back to destination weddings! 2020 and 2021 were crazy for destination weddings, everything was on hold, and we postponed many events.
 August and September were the beginning of a new era. Many couples got back to requests, booking dates, and actual in presence weddings. This is the case of Vera and Jan, who came from Switzerland to have a wedding with a view over Lake Maggiore on September 18th, 2021.

 Bride and groom tied the knot with a Roman Catholic ceremony at the pretty church on Isola Pescatori, just in front of Stresa village. A wonderful villa hosted a traditional Italian wedding reception lunch with some Peruvian twists.

Morine and Bastien had a fantastic Ethnic wedding on Lake Maggiore. They blended perfectly Assyrian Iraqi traditions with Italian landscape and the final result was simply great. A romantic Catholic ceremony in Lesa, a boat trip and a grand party in a villa by the shores with lots of Ethnic elements to enjoy.

Sam and Mitch came all over from Canada for their destination wedding in Italy. They fell in love at first sight with Villa Rusconi to celebrate their special day. What added an extra touch of elegance was the lovely photo session to Villa Taranto, one of the most beautiful botanic gardens in Europe.

Lake Maggiore is surely a unique wedding destination for couples who love amazing natural beauty and wonderful Italian architecture and charm.
