Romantic Lake Orta for a Sunny Wedding by the shores

e realised that it is a while we do not get back to tell you about how wonderful Lake Orta is!
So we deduced that it was time and we are doing this thanks to wonderful photos taken by Due Punti Photography. We are telling the story of Katy and Stuart’s magic wedding on Lake Orta in a mid summer sunny day! Lake Orta is the perfect backdrop for a such a romantic wedding by the shores.

Getting ready overlooking the Lake

Katy and Stuart chose Hotel San Rocco for their dream wedding and Katy opted for one of the best room to get ready in style with her bridesmaids.
The view from the suite of the hotel is just enchanting!
Katy wore a very simple yet very sexy and elegant wedding dress that perfectly matched the style she chose for the whole wedding: romantic, natural and fresh.
Her bridal bouquet was made of greenery and all white flowers.
In the meanwhile a very handsome groom was welcoming all the guests in the main square of Orta village with a fun prosecco toast.

A romantic Civil Ceremony by the shore on Lake Orta

Start lead all their guests to the town hall, at Villa Bossi.
The sound of violins enhanced the magic atmosphere. Katy in turn got on a boat so she could arrive in style to Villa Bossi as Orta tradition wants.
The ceremony was touching and very moving under a wonderful summer sun and a wonderful view over St. Julius Island.

An elegant wedding reception by the shores

After the ceremony bride and groom decided for an alternative set for their wedding photos.
Instead of traveling to St. Julius Island they wanted that Anna and Manuel – great photographers by Due Punti Photography – took some great shots in the narrow roads of Orta village. The result was simply amazing! Have a look.

The guests were waiting for them to Hotel San Rocco to start the celebrations with a fun aperitif at Villa Gippini.
Dinner was served on main terrace of the Hotel where bride and groom could enjoy the spectacular view of the Lake and its Island.
On the tables simple and elegant decorations of greenery candles and white flowers.
Fairy lights all around the terrace added a touch of magic to the evening.

After the gourmand dinner bride and groom cut a lovely cake by the shores with a night view over Lake Orta.
After a romantic first dance the party could start with a fun open bar and great music!

A wedding on Lake Orta could be simple, dreamy, romantic and much more.
All that this tiny village gives back to the bride and grooms and their guests is just amazing.
